Preventive Dentistry

The most important factor for a healthy mouth is preventive care. Preventive care includes regular cleanings and dental exams, sealants, and fluoride treatments. The American Dental Association (ADA) recommends a professional dental cleaning and dental examination every six months. We may also perform scaling and root planing, which is necessary when there are signs of bone loss. Regular deep cleanings and exams help to prevent and avoid tooth decay, tooth loss, and bone loss.

We’ll also provide patients with fluoride treatments every six months as recommended by the ADA.
